心斎橋

There are covered shopping streets such as Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street, which extends one block east of Midosuji. It is a busy downtown area in Chuo Ward, Osaka City.

道頓堀

Dotonbori, symbolized by the Glico sign and other landmarks, is one of the most famous downtown areas in Minami, Osaka. It is lined with restaurants of various genres.

新世界 (通天閣)

Shinsekai is a downtown area unique to Osaka. The site of the 5th National Industrial Exhibition held in 1903 (Meiji 36) was developed as “Shinsekai,” and it has become a popular tourist spot.

大阪ステーションシティ

Osaka Station City, located in the largest downtown area in western Japan, is a complex that includes the entire JR Osaka Station redevelopment area.


梅田スカイビル 空中庭園展望台

The Umeda Sky Building is a pair of high-rise towers connected by the Tower East and Tower West, featuring a 360-degree open-air rooftop observatory. From 173 meters above ground, you can overlook the cityscape of Osaka and even see as far as Awaji Island.

海遊館

One of the world’s largest aquariums, home to about 620 species and 30,000 marine creatures. It recreates the seas of the Pacific Rim across 10 regions and 14 tanks.


It is the home stadium of the Orix Buffaloes and one of Japan’s leading multi-purpose domes, hosting solo concerts by top artists from Japan and abroad. It features a dynamic, wave-like exterior, and the surrounding area is well equipped with shops.

Located within the lush Osaka Castle Park, this large multi-purpose arena has a capacity of up to 16,000 people. It is well known for its excellent acoustics and hosts major concerts and international events almost every day, making it a major entertainment venue.

A large stadium with a capacity of over 40,000 where international track and field events and Cerezo Osaka home games are held. It is also known as a sacred place for large-scale live concerts, where you can experience excitement in a spacious, open setting.

A power spot in Namba, known for the striking “Shishiden,” a large lion’s head structure. It is said to swallow evil spirits with its wide-open mouth and bring good fortune in victory and business prosperity, attracting visitors from Japan and abroad.

大阪天満宮

Founded in 949 by imperial decree of Emperor Murakami. The current shrine buildings were rebuilt in 1843. It enshrines Sugawara no Michizane, who is worshipped as the god of learning, and many students visit to pray for success in entrance examinations.

Osaka Castle is designated as one of Japan’s 100 famous castles. In Osaka Castle Park, visitors can enjoy seasonal flowers throughout the year, and various events are also held.
